Erica began practicing yoga in 1987 after a running injury- in those days there were very few yoga studios, however she found an Ashtanga class that met in the basement of an old Masonic Temple in Philadelphia. The first time she stepped on her yoga mat Erica knew that she had found something that would be pivotal in her life.

Since that time Erica hasn’t left her mat! She trained in the Pranakryia tradition with her primary teacher Yoganan Michael Carroll and since that time has taught basic and advanced yoga teacher training and workshops around the country.

Erica’s passion for yoga blossomed into her own desire to live a life that felt more in alignment with the truth of who she was; she sensed that the internal work of discovering herself, beyond and beneath ideas and identities, would allow her the opportunity to lead a more deeply fulfilling life.

Over the past 25 years, Erica has studied with many wonderful spiritual teachers, all of whom have contributed to her own self discovery process. She is deeply grateful to her primary teachers Rupert Spira, Adyashanti and many others.

After retiring ownership from a wonderful Yoga Studio in Philadelphia, Erica has decided to focus her attention on continuing to expand her retreat offerings. Erica has hosted retreats in Mexico, India, Greece, Sedona and more.

Developing and facilitating these retreats are her passion. These retreats combine an amalgamation of yoga, breath-work, meditation, rest, hiking, journaling, self inquiry practices and a strong dose of deep bonding and camaraderie nurtured between participants. These retreats offer participants the space and guidance to forge a deeper and more intimate relationship with themselves.
